Choose to Reuse in Darien is a group of concerned citizens who live in the coastal town of Darien, CT and who aim to help our environment and all living things there in by encouraging the use of reusable bags and promoting the creation of an ordinance that would ban the use of retail, plastic, check-ot bags, as the town of Westport, CT. did 2 and 1/2 years ago.

We started out as an educational forum and soon realized that while education is a strong and necessary component of out effort, it alone won't accomplish our goal which is to rid the town of Darien from the use of plastic, retail, shopping bags, typically measuring 12 inches across by about 20 inches lengthwise
