The Recycled Art Festival is a way to educate and get the community excited about waste reduction, reuse, and recycling in Northern Oakland County.
Come out and pursue the artists wares, enjoy the vegetarian cafe, the delicious baked goods, organic grass fed beef, maple syrup, home made cheeses, soaps, organic fruits and vegetables.
Make sure to bring along your HARD-TO-RECYCLE EVERYDAY ITEMS for convenient on-site collection by the Recycling Sisters. Things like Anything with a Plug, Electronics, Batteries(Laptop to Truck), Appliances(even with Freon), Anything made of Metal and Large Bulky Metal Items. We charge a fee of $5 for picture tube monitors, however, the monitor is free with tower. Free quick and complete Hard Drive destruction will also be available. TVs under 24" are $5 and larger T'Vs are $15, however, you can get a $5 credit for each 15 gallon garbage can full of recyclables or $15 credit for large appliances. You can also use our FREE pick-up service if you have a large quantity of items or a large appliance. Call Patty to schedule appointment at 248-240-4899. Added bonus for this event, we will be offering paint recycling for a small fee per can.
