Down On The Farm
Shares in the CSA sessions, will be collected the month before the session starts.We do not split shares, but individuals are welcome to split their share amongst family, friends, etc. after pick up.Each session will consist of six to eight types of vegetables, in a bag to be picked up weekly.With approximately 12-20lbs in each bag. Produce and fruit will be announced prior to sign up of each session.
We are a small family farm at Sabino Canyon and River Road (Northeast Tucson). With a community supported agriculture (CSA), involvement. As a group we are striving to teach "back to basic" living skills, By offering some of the following:
-Vegetables Grown Naturally
-Free Range Chickens & Eggs
- Free Range Beef, Lamb, Rabbits
- Small stocked pond, with Catfish, Tilapia, Blue Gill, and Crawfish.
Classes we will be hosting but not limited to are;
- Bread Making
- Sausage Making
- Cheese & Butter Making
- How to make Tamales
- Canning and Preserving classes

2-Bar-O Feed (Wed Sat) at Wrightstown & Pantano. Pick up times-Saturday mornings from 8-12, and Wednesday afternoons 4-6.
