Description

Lake Village Homestead Farm
The Lake Village Homestead farm operates a CSA food share program, where interested participants join the farm as associate members for $200/year. They are then eligible to purchase a food share, which gives them access to food products offered in our community kitchen "store". Customers/members are welcome to come to the farm at any point during our hours of operation in order to pick-up and purchase whatever items they may need. Food shares are on-going and may be replenished and credited with more $ when customers have used their initial investment.

Lake Village Homestead is a 501(C) (3) non-profit organization with CSA memberships available to those folks interested in purchasing pasture-raised meat and free-range eggs locally. We specialize in raising grass-fed cows and pastured pigs, while also nurturing happy hens and loving goats. Some of the items you will find in our community kitchen "store" include: bacon, sausage, steaks, ground beef, salami, hot dogs, pork chops, ham, raw milk cheeses, maple syrup, honey, and eggs.

Lake Village also functions as an educational center, providing farm tours to schools and children of various ages. We are dedicated to teaching kids about the source of their food, while helping bridge connections between young hearts and happy tummies! We believe that by building these relationships we are securing the future of farm-raised, local food and thereby the strength of the greater community.
