Description

For those of you who are first-timers, a CSA is ultimately about forming a community around local and healthy food. We all make up the community, and we supply the local and healthy produce. Every week from approximately mid-June through October, you'll receive a box of fresh veggies and eggs (and some fruit when in season) that we've grown and harvested here at the Lazy Parrot Ranch on Parrot Mountain.

If you live here on the mountain, you'll pick up your share from the farm once a week, and if you live in Portland, you'll pick up your share once a week in NE PDX . Each weekly share is designed to feed a household of about 3 people, but we also offer half shares for households of 1-2 if you'd prefer to receive a little less.

Lazy Parrot CSA is run by Alix Eastman and Christian Danielsen on Parrot Mountain in Newberg, OR. The consider themselves very spoiled in that they get to fill their days growing organic, fresh produce for their friends and neighbors!
