Description
Our CSA serves the Bryan/College Station Area. Members pick up each week at our office in Bryan and at our NEW College Station location.
We work to provide fresh, local veggies 30+ weeks of the year.
By popular demand we now offer spring and fall only memberships in addition to our year around membership.
The farm started with our families desire to grow its own natural produce. Our simple back yard garden has grown by leaps and bounds. Today we use our "little" garden to test new veggies and new techniques. The "farm" is now where we get all of the veggies supplied to your family via our CSA.
Many people wonder how we can enjoy working such a large garden. But, it is hard to think of what you love doing as work. The times passes so fast before you know it you have hoed to the end of the row.....and you can start again.
Community Supported Agriculture means that each week as a member you get to pick up a basket full of delicious, freshly harvested herbs and vegetables that our farmer has specially prepared for you. It is healthy for your body, for our community, and for the Planet. It is an investment in our farm and in local, sustainable farming. A CSA allows you to be intimately connected to the farming process: the amount and variety of produce in your basket is entirely dependent on what our soil yields. Your diet will reflect the season and the land. The symbiotic relationship that CSA creates between farmer and customer helps to encourage community in farming. It is a partnership that is vital to our farm and brings our members closer to the source of the food they eat, all the while providing them with the highest quality of produce.
