Description
Lotfotl Community Farm
LotFotL(an acronym standing for Living off the Fat of the Land) is a five year old vegetable production farm, now at its new home at Quinney Farm, west of Elkhorn, in the township of Sugar Creek. We grow 70+ different fruits, herbs, and vegetables, and make these available to you through our CSA program, as well as providing great ingredients for restaurants and grocers. Our CSA season is 26 weeks long, for one price. No spring/summer/fall shares here. Just one simple price, one long, abundant season.
Vegetables are prime, but we have some herbs and fruits too. 3-5 servings of 8-12 items per share. About 3/4 bushel, which is mid-sized in Milwaukee land. In 2010, we included 73 items in shares. We'll shoot for 80 items in 2011. Shares start a bit smaller, but fill in by mid june.
