Description

We are a diverse vegetable and small animal farm founded by Berea Mennonite Church in East Atlanta. We grow a little over a half acre of vegetables using uncertified organic practices. We keep and raise small animals for their company, eggs and meat. We do our best to give our animals the kind of lives they deserve - eating, excercizing and existing in healthy ways.

Our farm was formed out of the context of a community discussing its witness in the surrounding area. We believe that local, fresh, responsible eating is part of the Christian call to stewardship and Creation care. We hope that our farm - as it is visible from Bouldercrest Road - will help us all imagine what a world on its way toward a New Creation might look like.

We are a small, fairly basic, CSA. We try to have a variety of 5-10 veggies each week - something equivalent to a half-bushel basket of food. We share herbs and other non-vegetable items as seems appropriate. We remain small enough to maintain a relationship with each of our shareholders and pay close attention to our member community's
