Otter Hook Farms is a small family farm using land in both Greenville and New Baltimore in Greene County, just west of the Hudson River. Our passion for clean, nutritious and delicious food is what led us into farming, and it is our mission to deliver the best food we can grow to our members. We are continually working to improve our soils in order to grow the most nutritious and best tasting food available.
We raise vegetables for CSA, chickens for meat and eggs, and have recently added several cows for our milk and meat. In coming years, as we add needed infrastructure, we will raise more animals (additional cows, various poultry, pigs, sheep and goats), and we will also add fruit and some small grains to our mix. We farm organically, and are putting into practice methods that will make our food more nutrient dense. Our poultry is fed certified organic grain, and our cows eat only grass and hay.
