We are now accepting membership subscriptions for our 2011 season. We are a proven farm that has been in operation for 25 years and are, arguably, the best local produce stand in the Brandywine Valley. Our CSA usually has 20 weeks of our sustainably grown veggies and fruits, from mid-June until Halloween. Our specialties include corn picked fresh all day, everyday, over 30 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, over 10 types of cherry tomatoes, raspberries and blackberries, heirloom melons, eggplant and squash, sweet onions, softneck garlic, all kind of potatoes, tender lettuces and greens, beets, green beans, edamame, heirloom cukes, all the fall decorations and pumpkins and gorgeous flowers. SIW grows all kinds of heirloom and improved varieties of vegetables, fruits and flowers on a 60 acre family farm in the fertile Brandywine River Valley. Our specialties are sweet corn, which is picked fresh all day long, heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, squash, cucumbers, onions, melons, garlic, raspberries, blackberries, green beans, Doc Martin lima beans, okra, and did I say tomatoes? Our customers flock to our outdoor Farm Market throughout the summer not only for the amazingly fresh and delicious farm grown produce, but also for the other local breads, cheeses, pies, salsa, dips, etc. that we sell.
Open 10am to 6pm everyday of the week from mid-June until Halloween.
