In April of 2010, we purchased a 75 acre property located one hour east of Tucson in the beautiful San Pedro River Valley. This move not only allows us a pristine and exciting place to grow our families and our business, but it also allows us the physical space necessary to grow more food for our community. Over the past few months, we have been busy tripling our planted acreage and expanding our laying hens, dairy goats, and honeybees.

For the last several seasons, we have thoroughly enjoyed providing the highest quality fruits and vegetables for our CSA members. We believe that Community Supported Agriculture is the best way to connect with your food and your farmer, to build a vibrant food community in Southern Arizona, and to ensure quality, transparency, and accountability within our food system. We operate 12-week CSAs. The cost is $300 if paid up front, or members may choose to pay in two installments of $160. Members will receive $25 to $35 worth of seasonal fruits and vegetables each week, picked up Sundays at the Tucson Farmers Market (at St. Phillips Plaza).

Sleeping Frog Farms is an intensive 75-acre farm nestled in the Cascabel corridor of the San Pedro River Valley. Founded on permaculture design and biodynamic growing principles, we are dedicated to providing our community with seasonal heirloom fruits and vegetables through farmer�s markets, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), Farm to School, Food Coop, and restaurant sales. Our laying hens, dairy goats, honey bees, and earthworms are integral to pollination, soil-building, and recycling crop waste into food and fertilizer. We harvest our diverse selection of produce daily and at its peak ripeness, in order to bring you the finest taste and nutrition in Southern Arizona.
