Description
Three Roods Farm
We really enjoy Saturday mornings with our members. We work at a leisurely pace, listening to the birds or conversing with each other. We try to find the right job for everyone who comes out that day. Whether young or old, everyone has an enjoyable experience.
The only farm located within the village of Columbiaville, Three Roods Farm is home to Robin Mallor & Greg Kruszewski, their daughters, cats, a German Shepherd dog, Australorpe chickens, a flock of Shetland sheep, and thousands of honeybees. 'Three Roods' means 3/4 acre and that is the amount of land with which they began their vegetable garden. 12 of the 23 acres have been planted in trees and vegetables, with the rest in pasture. Internships are available. Farm tours can be arranged.
