Description

The Barrington Farmers Market was established in May of 2000. It is held in the historic district of downtown Barrington between many of restored homes and retail shops. There are over 24 farmers and vendors that participate each week in bringing freshly grown and produced products. The vendor space sells out well in advance of each season. Barrington is a friendly walk around town. Much of the downtown area has recently gone through extensive redevelopment and has brought new life to the entire area. Our Market is fully managed and operated by the Barrington Village Association, but is also supported and sponsored by the Village itself.

The Barrington Village Association is proud to announce the opening of its eighth year of operation of the Barrington Farmers Market. The market is located in the village parking lot at the corner of Main (Lake Cook Road) and South Cook Street in Barrington, Illinois.

The market runs from 2:00-7:00 p.m. every Thursday beginning June 18, 2009 and ending October 15, 2009.
