Started in 1996 by the Community Redevelopment Agency, The GreenMarket has become one of the most popular and charming aspects of "the season" in downtown Delray Beach. Opening on Saturday, October 31st and continuing every Saturday from 8am to 1pm through May 15, 2010.
The market is a Saturday morning destination as an open air marketplace offering off-the-vine produce, just picked citrus, fragrant baked goods, fresh cut flowers, blooming plants and unique gourmet fare, as well as weekly entertainment.
Saturday, February 21st, 12 Annual Chili Cook-off. Veteran and novice chefs are invited to take up their ladles form 10am-noon to flaunt their culinary talents. Tasting is always free and chili lovers will delight in the assortment of homemade recipes
