Description

"The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is operated by the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA), a non-profit that strives to educate urban consumers about sustainable agriculture through its farmers markets and educational programs such as Market to Table Seasonal Cooking Demonstrations, Meet the Producer, and Farm Tours. The Saturday market (8am-2pm) features over 100 farmers and vendors, offering fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, breads, and other artisan food products. The Tuesday market (10am-2pm) features between 15 and 35 farmers and vendors, offering a variety of produce and artisan food products. The Thursday market (10am-2pm, beginning July 2, 2009) highlights sustainable street food while offering the best seasonal produce direct from the farm. All our markets are open year-round, rain or shine.

Year round Tuesdays - 10:00am-2:00pm in front of the Ferry Building.  Rain or shine. Thursdays, beginning July 2, 2009 - 10:00am-2:00pm - in front of the Ferry Building. Rain or shine. Saturdays - 8:00am-2:00pm - in front of the Ferry Building and in the back plaza.  Rain or shine.
