One of the sure signs of summer is the reemergence of the farmers markets that dot the cityscape during the summer and fall months.Jersey Fresh is an advertising and promotional program developed by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture in 1983 to publicize the wide variety of fruits and vegetables which are grown here in the Garden State, providing delicious nutritional fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices. Farmers Market shoppers also reduce their carbon footprint by purchasing locally grown and produced goods, getting more nutritional bang for their buck! Consumers can find a wide variety of goods, including fresh organic and conventional fruits and vegetables, baked goods, seafood, fresh mozzarella, pickles, and flowers.
Every Tuesday from 3 - 6 pm from July to October.
