"Sounds of spring abound, and that can mean only one thing! Your local farmer's market will soon bring forth a bountiful feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Bring the whole family out for the inaugural event. Meet the local growers and find out what they have in store for you this year.   The 2009 Hoschton Farmer's Market promises to be a banner year. We will have an Italian vegetable specialist who will be happy to discuss recipes with you. Our very own coordinator and master bee-keeper will talk about his prized honey and may share a Civil War story or two. Herb masters will be on hand and a few artists as well. Organic and heirloom growers will share their enthusiasm for the certified naturally grown movement. So mark your calendar, and come see the exciting beginning of The Year of Local Food.
