Description
"We are excited to be entering our 29th year as one of Chicagoland's premier farmers markets! We close Church Street every Thursday morning from mid-June to mid-October and fill it with 28 vendors that grow, bake or make what they sell. No re-sellers or crafts are allowed, so you will only see the ""freshest of the fresh"" in the heart of picture perfect downtown Libertyville. You will find certified organic produce, grown only 5 miles away. Free range and hormone free chicken, pork and beef. Many kinds of fresh breads baked the night before the market. Salsas and sauces. Tarts, baguettes, muffins, pies, and cookies. Coffee fresh roasted and ground on the spot. Watch French crepes being made to order, kettle corn still warm from the huge mixing pot, lemonade squeezed just for you.
June-October, Church Street between Milwaukee Avenue and Brainerd. Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
