Description

Launched in 2007, the Millerton Farmer's Market creates a vital community gathering spot, and a means for people to buy fresh, locally grown produce. Growers from Millerton, Ancramdale, Pine Plains and other New York towns, as well as Sheffield, MA and Sharon and Falls Village, CT bring their (mostly) organic and "clean-grown" vegetables, meat, honey, eggs, and prepared foods to market. Spearheaded by volunteers and sponsored by the North East Community Center, this project seeks to promote and assist local farms and promote the value of food grown locally, with emphasis on the benefits of produce grown and made without chemicals, both for human health and the environment.

May-October, Saturdays from 9am-1pm.

Dutchess Avenue (across from Herrington's) in the parking lot of the Methodist Church.
