Mount Vernon Farmers' Market offers seasonal fruits and vegetables (including heritage varieties); pastured beef, pork and lamb; natural honey; bread, candies, baked goods; jams and jellies, hand-crafted jewelry, woodcrafts and more. WIC, SFMNP, CVV and SNAP approved. Market is held in the park next to the Mount Vernon Visitors Center.

MVFM also holds a winter market, twice a month, Saturdays, 11 am-1 pm, November-April, in the basement of Mount Vernon City Hall, 213 First Street West. 2010-2011 dates: November 6 & 20, December 18, January 8 & 22, February 5 & 19, March 5 & 19, April 2 & 16.

When and Where: Year Round, Outdoor summer market is next to the Mount Vernon Visitors Center, on First Street West, Thursdays, 4-6 pm, May 6-Oct 14, 2010., Indoor winter market is in the basement of Mount Vernon City Hall, 213 First Street West, two Saturdays per month, 11 am-1 pm, November-April. 2010-2011 schedule is: Nov 6 and 20, Dec 18, Jan 8 and 22, Feb 5 and 19, March 5 and 19, Apr 2 and 16.
