"2009 marks the fifth year for the New Garden Growers Market. Over a dozen vendors featuring local farmers from Chester County, Lancaster County, near-by Maryland, and northern Delaware. The market offers a wide-array of fresh fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meats and dairy, eggs, cheese, honey, mushrooms,jams and jellies, plants, cut flowers, bread and baked goods, and artisan crafts. Open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from the third Saturday in May to mid-October. Plenty of parking, great variety of products, and a friendly atmosphere. Come see us!
"May-October Located on Rt. 41 (Newport-Gap Pike) just 1/4 mile north of the intersection with Newark Rd. The market takes place in front of the New Garden Township Maintenance Garage right along side the highway. Opening the third Saturday in May and running every Saturday through mid-October. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m."
