About "Lighthouse Project"
My industry, by its very nature, is "Green." Scrap tires and industrial rubber formerly were a terrible disposal problem. Virtually indestructible, they created major disease and fire hazards. Today, this material is being transformed into valued end products such as landscaping and playground mulches, ballistic rubber for police and military, equestrian footing for horse trainers, tire-derived fuel which powers electric generating plants and industrial kilns, and crumb rubber for which civil engineers find myriad applications.
