Description

A school based community garden. Volunteers spend time giving community children hands on experiences, planting, cultivating, harvesting and eating organically grown food. The garden is all encompassing. We bring classes out throughout the school year and integrate what they are learning in all subject areas in school, into their experience in the outdoor classroom. Families and youth groups volunteer during the summer monthes and we having a very popular school garden club. The Giving Garden is a gift to all who want to come visit.
