Description

Established in September, 2008, Charleston Waterkeeper is a data driven, citizen based non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the public's right to clean water.  The organization is driven on the fundamental belief that clean water is not the privilege of a few but the basic human right of all.  Since its founding, Charleston Waterkeeper has worked to identify and resolve water pollution issues throughout the Charleston Harbor Watershed. As a proud member of Waterkeeper Alliance, Charleston Waterkeeper joins nearly 200 other waterkeeper organizations around the world in the fight for clean water and strong communities.
