Summary:

I started my work life as a residential remodeler, beginning with small decks and patio covers and eventually owneing and operating a construction company with several crews and a sales force. After 14 years of that rat race, and having "flipped" nearly 100 properties, I acquired my real estate license. In 1995, i started my sale career in real estate at Century 21, selling 52 homes my first year, 83 my second and over 100 my third year... not a bad start. I then committed to serving at my church as a full time associate pastor for three years, and during that time completed my Bachelors in Couneling.

At the end of that commitment, having trained a replacement, I returned to real estate sales and joined Keller Williams Realty. For the next eleven years, I built my business, served and led multiple committees and projects, and developed curriculum for agents. In February of 2011, I joined KWRI as Director of Publishing, and volunteered to lead the Green Initiative. I am passionate about education and self-improvement, and believe we each have a responsibility to consider how what we do now affects the future. I enjoy sharing the message of sustainability, and the simplicity of making a difference right now.

We have provided a concise, informative and instructive book for agents and homeowners to be educated and inspired to formulate and implement a plan to make their homes more Green. With easy to "Do-It-Yourself" projects and tips, Keller Williams is encouraging every homeowner to look at the health of their home, evaluate their systems, especially the systems that consume electricity, and focus on sustainable activities and projects that truly impact their families, communities, and the world. We really believe change starts in the heart. So, we approached the need to be Green from the home and how it affects our families. From their, we went to the mind, with sensible and simple projects and tips to get the reader started on their journey to a more healthy, money-smart, sustainable life. Once this becomes a part of the home life, we believe it will infiltrate every aspect of the reader's life!

We are giving away 20,000 copies of our Green Your Home book to our agents clients by the end of January, 2012, in partnership with Citibank.
