Summary: I am creator and publisher of Greenspiration Home (www.greenspirationhome.com) an online publication dedicated to helping homeowners build, renovate and decorate green. All of our content is based on actual homeowner experience, so when people come to our site they find entertaining and informative anecdotal information. Greenspiration Home evolved from my own green showcase home, the original Greenspiration Home. We promoted the home as an educational resource throughout its building and beyond, offering workshops and tours for both consumers and builders. The home was featured in many publications, as far as Canada, and we had a great deal of television coverage as well. What struck me during this process was how well homeowners responded to another homeowner (me) sharing my firsthand experiences about building green. As a publication, Greenspiration Home carries on that tradition, reaching out to homeowners in that same unique peer-to-peer fashion.
