Andy Kennedy

Summary:

Andy Kennedy brings 10 years of experience in non-profit event planning, management, marketing, writing and photography to the YVSC Team. She joined YVSC as a member of the Board of Directors in January 2009, then as the Coordinator for YVSC’s Zero Waste Program from April 2011 to March 2012, and Program Director in May 2012. Andy has lived in Steamboat Springs since 1998 and has long ties to sustainability since her post-graduate internship at the Lost Valley intentional community in Dexter, Oregon in 1995.  Andy is also a founding member of the Transition Steamboat group and is very active in the community, having ties to the adaptive sports, travel, arts, photography, business, and technology communities within Steamboat.  An avid outdoorswoman and educator, Andy and her husband Craig love to spend all winter skiing the slopes of Steamboat, and all summer hiking, biking, and gardening in the Yampa Valley.
